Because He Is Love

Adversity, may have
Laid you low;
Bereavement, and calamity,
May have crushed you:
But behold, His love
Is engraved within
Your darkest cloud;
And it breathes,
From the lips of
Your bleeding wound;
Yea, His desparate love,
Bears its reflection,
In every fragment
Of your blighted flower:
Because He is love;
Gently falls the rod,
In its heaviest stroke;
Tenderly pierces the sword,
In its deepest thrust;
And the rainbow,
Brightens the cloud,
In its darkest hues.

No felony charges in Ariz. TSA agent groping case

by Associated Press (July 19th, 2011 @ 10:29pm)                                                         PHOENIX - Prosecutors said Tuesday that they won't file felony charges against a Colorado woman who is accused of groping a female Transportation Security Administration agent at Phoenix's airport.

Jerry Cobb, a spokesman for the Maricopa County attorney's office, said county prosecutors concluded the facts of the case don't rise to the level of a felony.

The case against Yukari Miyamae, of Longmont, Colo., now goes to Phoenix's city prosecutor's office, which handles all misdemeanors in the city.

That office said it hasn't received the case and hasn't decided whether to charge Miyamae.

Police said Miyamae, 61, grabbed a breast of an unidentified agent Thursday after the TSA said she refused to go through passenger screening. She was arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Miyamae hasn't returned calls this week from The Associated Press.

Cobb said the case against Miyamae didn't contain a sexual motivation element, which is required to prove the sexual abuse charge that police had recommended.

The TSA agent also didn't meet the qualifications of a law enforcement officer, which would have triggered a charge of assaulting a police officer, Cobb said.

The TSA issued a written statement Tuesday saying that it won't tolerate assaults on its employees.

American Gothic: A Poetic Vision

American Gothic -- A Poetic Vision

Now a thing was secretly brought to me, in thoughts;
From a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth on a man;
A shudder of dread came upon me, and in stunned silence,
Did I behold the eagle's wings lifted on the four winds of heaven,
And a Word was accorded it: "Thy way is in the sea, and thy path
Is in the great waters; and thy footsteps are not known to thee."
The waters saw and were afraid, yea, even the deep trembled,
For it was made to stand as a man, and given a truth to feast upon;
Lifting its standard high, it drew everyman, as a beacon in the storm.
Thou hast heartily increased the nation, and not increased the joy;
They joy before Thee soley according to the joy of the harvest,
And as men rejoice when they plunder, and divide up the spoil.
They have not known or understood; for Thou hast shut their eyes,
That they cannot see, and their hearts, that they may not apprehend.
They have left off to be wise, and will not frame their doings to turn unto God;
For the spirit of whoredoms doth dance furiously in the midst of them:
They have not known the Lord, neither have they sought His way of peace.
Fornication, great of flesh, have they committed with all who would,
Increasing their harlotry and lewdness to provoke Him in His anger:
"Thou hast played the whore because thou wast insatiable;
Yea, thou played the harlot with them, and could not be satisfied.
Have ye not known? Have ye not heard? Hath it not been told you
From the beginning? Have ye not understood from the foundations
Of the earth? The axe shall boast itself against him that heweth threrewith!"
Therefore will He stretch out His hand over them to corrupt the land,
That thy yield will not nourish; commotion and anguish will grip thy cities,
As thine abundance flees from thee, as the mist in a mighty wind;
And their power will He dash with a shake of the rock, and a dagger left
In their midst; then will they be delivered up unto them that hate them,
And those who were ashamed of their ways will demand satisfaction.
"Calling a ravenous bird from a distant land, the man that will
Execute My counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it,
I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it."

Hear now this word you people of the principalities and powers

Your studies of art, your pleasures of taste, your pursuit of gain, your toil of ambition- your splendid impertinence, and cruel mockeries, those bastard gangstalking soul-murderers of the present time; they stifle in your heart all feeling, and annihilate in your mind all thought that you are an accountable steward, a moral agent, a deathless being; and that soon, yes, in one moment, your soul may be in eternity- standing agitated, trembling and speechless, before Almighty God! Desperately fearing an inexorable doom!  Let me, in His name and power, at the last, plead with you for your life.

Reflect for a moment what your present careless, unbelieving and impenitent state really is. It is nothing less than to challenge the vengeance of the Most High God, to defy his power, to disdain his clemency, to refuse his compassion, to reject his pardon, to insult his majesty, and to expose yourself to the fierceness of his eternal wrath.  Upon whom do you think the righteous judgment of God must pronounce and execute its withering sentence of an unchanging destiny, and an unending oblivion !!!

Where, then, can you flee to hide from the dark storm that gathers over you, from the thick clouds, and treasured-up lightning, and readied bolt, and desolating winds that wait only for the signal of God’s uplifted hand to rush forth upon you in all their unchecked, unmitigated fury? Where can you flee? You have “made a covenant with death, and are at an agreement with hell.” You are fascinated with the world, and are enamored with yourself, and are satisfied to have no other portion. You rejected the Consolation, refused the sheltering pavilion of His righteousness, and despised the offers of His grace, where, then, when the tempest leaps forth in all its maddening fury, will you flee?

Yet how calmly you tread upon the very brink of ruin, how sportively, and handsomely, you sail along the very edge of the vortex, how content and happy to curse your way to the bar of a holy and a just God, through a world of disease and casualty and death, without one anxious thought to obtain deliverance, or one earnest struggle to escape your doom!

Behold how the nation stumbles and begins to devour itself from within --- her pleas for favor bring neither relief or redemption.
And in her reach for rescue; will the hammer fall !!

Amen: "Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus."

Amen:  Goodnight my friends.

The Arizona Republic-12 News Breaking News Team

A woman was arrested at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport after she groped a U.S. Transportation Security Administration worker, officials said Saturday afternoon.

Yukari Miyamae, 61, of Colorado, became argumentative and refused to be screened by TSA staff after she entered the screening area in a Sky Harbor terminal about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Sgt. Steve Martos, a spokesman for the Phoenix Police Department.

During the argument, Miyamae grabbed the breast of an unidentified TSA employee, officials said.
When police officers arrived on scene, officials said Miyamae admitted to grabbing the TSA agent and continued to be argumentative. Officers arrested her on suspicion of sexual abuse.

Worker with expired Mexican ID arrested at nuclear plant

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office
A photo provided by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office shows Cruz Loya Alvares.

by JJ Hensley and Ryan Randazzo - Jul. 14, 2011 05:05 PM
The Arizona Republic

A contract worker at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station was arrested Wednesday for trying to enter the plant one day after a guard barred the man from the site because his Mexican ID card was expired.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Mesa resident Cruz Loya Alvares, a construction contract worker at Palo Verde, on suspicion of criminal trespassing on a nuclear power station, a Class 4 felony.

According to court documents, Alvares, 32, went to work at the plant on Tuesday morning but a security guard prevented Alvares from entering the plant after noticing that Alvares' Mexican ID card was expired.
The security guard told Alvares he could not enter the plant grounds, about 50 miles west of downtown Phoenix, until Alvares could provide a valid ID card, according to court documents.

Alvares returned on Wednesday morning and presented a security guard with an Arizona ID card that the guard found suspicious, according to court records. The guard allowed Alvares on the plant but took a picture of the suspicious ID with his phone and later showed it to a supervisor, who called sheriff's deputies, according to court documents.

Arizona Public Service Co. spokesman Jim McDonald said the suspect's access was limited to a part of the plant known as the "owner-controlled area" that does not contain any of the plant's vital controls.

To get access to the area of the plant that houses the vital controls, Alvares would have had to undergo an FBI-level background check, McDonald said.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Alvares, who was working for DRP Construction, at the plant about 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to court records.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio said in a statement that deputies had determined Alvares had illegally entered the United States and lived here for most of the last 15 years.

Alvares was working for the past two weeks on a remodeling project at an annex building on the fringe of the plant. While he had to pass through a guard station on the road, he had not passed the heavily armed guards, turnstiles, X-rays, explosive-sensing equipment and other security measures required to get inside the protected area near the nuclear material and control rooms for the plant's three reactors, McDonald said.

Alvares could have been allowed access to the non-sensitive area of the plant for the last two weeks if Alvares was in the vehicle with an authorized employee who vouched for Alvares, McDonald said.

Without an in-depth background check and a fingerprint scan, contractors would not be cleared to enter the protected area, he said.

"The guards performed the way they were trained to perform," he said.

Contractors cannot "vouch" for workers without identification, he said, but workers can enter a work site if they are escorted by a contractor who has a security badge at the plant.

Three blasts rock Mumbai, CM Chavan says 21 dead, 113 injured

MUMBAI: Three near-simultaneous explosions rocked Mumbai at rush-hour on Wednesday, killing at least 21 people in what the government said appeared to be another terrorist strike in the city hit by a major attack nearly three years ago.

Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan said the latest attack killed 20 people, and home minister P Chidambaram said the toll was likely to rise.

Television footage showed dozens of police officials, several of them armed, at the sites of the explosion and at least one car with its windows shattered. A photograph showed victims of a blast at the Zaveri Bazaar crowding into the back of a cargo truck to be taken to a hospital.

Because of the close timing of the string of explosions, ``we infer that this was a coordinated attack by terrorists,'' home minister Palaniappan Chidambaram said.

One blast hit the crowded neighborhood of Dadar in central Mumbai. The others were at the Zaveri Bazaar, which is a famed jewelry market, and the busy business district of Opera House, both in southern Mumbai and several miles (kilometers) apart, police said.

All three blasts happened from 6:50pm. to 7pm., when all the neighborhoods would have been packed with office workers and commuters.

The 2008 attack killed 166 people and was blamed on Pakistan-based militant groups. Tensions escalated between the countries and peace talks were suspended. The talks recently resumed.

Soon after Wednesday's blasts were reported, Pakistan's government expressed distress on the loss of lives and injuries.

The blasts would mark the first major attack on Mumbai since the November 2008 violence, when 10 terrorists laid siege to the city for 60 hours, targeting two luxury hotels, a Jewish center and a busy train station. There was no immediate indication that Wednesday's blasts were part of a prolonged siege.

Mumbai has been on edge since then. In December, authorities deployed extra police on city streets after receiving intelligence that a Pakistan-based militant group was planning an attack over New Year's weekend. Police conducted house-to-house searches in some neighborhoods for four men who authorities believe entered the city to carry out a terrorist attack, and computer-aided photographs of the four suspects were released.

In March 2010, Mumbai police said they prevented a major terrorist strike after they arrested two Indian men, who, police said, were preparing to hit several targets in the city. Then in September, police issued a terror alert for the city during a popular Hindu festival.

Over the masterpiece by Zef and Trish
Daniel; Spirit Mystery Logos (528).

In the believer's life there is a highly satisfying love  that distinguishes him from all others  and elevates his spirit and his life to heights far beyond that of the worldly, natural man. This love content is more than a thing; it is God Himself in the midst of His beloved singing over His people. True Christian joy is the heart’s harmonious response to the Lord’s song of love.

Truest Prayer

Truest prayer,
Is the incense
Of a heart,
Broken for sin;
Humbled .......
In its iniquity:
A crushed censor,
Remolded, and
Beautified by God;
Where now a
Fragrant cloud,
Gracefully ascends,
To fill all Heaven,
With its bouquet.

The Light of His Love

The Living God,
Draws us to walk,
In the high places
Of His passion;
He lifts us above,
The dark clouds
Of trial, and sorrow,
That float beneath;
Into a high, and
Majestic ambiance;
Where we can savor,
The Light of His love.

The Perfect Day

By His Divine,
And unapproachable
Glory .......
God is Light;
And from His own
Essential fullness,
He wells out Light,
In prismatic rays
Of beauty, and power:
Here, of love,
And grace;
There, of strength,
And wisdom;
To glimmer,
And glisten, along
Our homeward path;
Shining brighter,
And more beautiful;
Unto the Perfect Day.

The Love Of God

The stupendous fact that God loves us- loves man, sinful man- admits us to the secret of all that He has done, and is still doing, for man. There is no other solution to the marvelous mysteries of His Incarnation and Sacrificial Death but this - God loves us. Love originated all, explains all, illustrates all- love is the interpreter of every Divine mystery. There is not a circumstance of our Lord's history which is not another form or manifestation of love. His incarnation, is love stooping; His sympathy, is love weeping; His compassion, is love holding; His grace, is love acting; His teaching, is the voice of love; His silence, is the repose of love; His patience, is the restraint of love; His obedience, is the labor of love; His suffering, is the travail of love; His cross, is the altar of love; His death is the burned offering of love; His resurrection, is the triumph of love; His ascension into heaven, and His sitting down at the right hand of God, is the enthronement and the intercession of love. Such is the deep, the vast, the boundless ocean upon which our thoughts are now about to launch. The soul muses in silent awe as it gazes upon this fathomless, limitless sea. Like the eternity of God, we cannot fathom where His love begins, or where it terminates. It has neither beginning nor ending. Like the peace of God, "it passes all understanding;" like itself, "it passes all knowledge."
